THEODORE J. MISIOLEK, Sr., age 88, of Nokomis, Fla., died Thursday, May 29, 2008. He was born May 16, 1920, in Colebrook, OH, the son of John and Stella (Ciomica) Misiolek. A former resident of Andover, Mr. Misiolek had been living in Florida for more than twenty years. In Andover, he owned Ted's Barber Shop for 37 years; and he farmed and raised beef cattle. He was a Cpl. in the 36th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. During World War II he was wounded and taken prisoner; and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Misiolek was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans; He was also a member of the Murdock Christian Church in Port Charlotte, FL. Mr. Misiolek is survived by his wife, Ella Jean (Tripp) Misiolek, whom he married Sept. 15, 1957, of Nokomis, FL, his daughter, Judy Lawrence of Venice, FL; three sons, Theodore J. Misiolek, Jr., of Columbus, OH, Robert C. Misiolek of Cleveland Hts., OH, and Norman K. Burns, Jr. of Tempe, AZ; one grandson, Theordore J. Misiolek III; three granddaughters, Tiffany and Trisha Steffes, and Nicole Misiolek; and one great grandson, Hayden Fraley. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Walter Misiolek; and one sister, Mary Jankowski. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Andover Christian Church, Stillman Ave., Andover, OH, with David Roberts officiating. A private burial of cremated remains will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover.
