Alan L. Reeves

Alan L. Reeves, 58, of Greene Township,OH, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born August 31, 1953, in Warren, Ohio, the son of George and Doris (McClimans) Reeves. Formerly of Gustavus, Mr. Reeves had lived in Greene for the past 25 years. He was employed as a truck driver; and was formerly a dog warden for Trumbull County. He was a member of the Jamestown Firemans Club. His hobbies included deer hunting; playing the drums and singing in the band. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and fishing at Jack's place. Mr. Reeves is survived by his wife, Cynthia J. (Wilson) Reeves, whom he married July 27, 1996, of Greene township, OH; three daughters, Belinda (Jon-Michael Fabian) Stuard of Burghill, OH, Alana (Kenny) Konopinski of Williamsfield,OH, and Trista Simon of Jamestown, PA; one son, Alan G. Reeves of Denver, CO; four step daughters, Nicole Wilson, Rachel (Tim) Lazzaro, and Janese (Chris) Butler, all of New Lyme township, OH, and Karmen (Steve) Butler of Columbus,OH; his nine grandchildren, Mason, Mary-Leah, Peyton, Emilee, Doug, Summer, Kaylee, Conner, and Carter; his four sisters, Carmen (Bob) Campana of Southington, OH, Cheri (Ceasar) Aulizio of Kinsman,OH, Cheryl (Ray) Sypert of Johnston township, OH, and Michelle (Steve) Bosak of Middlefield,OH; his father and mother-in-law, Coy and Betty Wilson of New Lyme township, OH; brother-in-law, Rick (Roseann) Wilson of New Lyme township, OH; sister-in-law, Hildred (Larry) Armstrong of East Claridon, OH; brother-in-law, Mike (Ginny) Wilson of Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 16th from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the funeral service starting at 7:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. A private burial of cremated remains will take place later in Gustavus Cemetery.
