Alice J. Rabich

Alice J. Rabich, 85 years old, of Farmdale, Ohio, died on Monday, February 23, 2004, at Cortland Healthcare Center in Cortland, Ohio. Alice was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 2, 1918, to the late John Vavra and the late Regina (Smetana) Vavra. Mrs. Rabich, a long time Kinsman area resident, was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Greene Twp. She married John Rabich in November of 1934 and was preceded in death by him in 1981. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Alan Rabich, and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Mrs. Rabich enjoyed quilting, baking, reading, and her family. She is survived by her two sons, Eugene Rabich of Farmdale, OH; and Larry Rabich of Warren, OH; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, on Friday, February 27, 2004, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26, 2004 from 6-8pm.
