Alice Ann Weese

Andover, Ohio – Alice Ann Weese, age 76, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, Pennsylvania. She was born on August 20, 1937 in Fairmount, West Virginia, a daughter of Martha Elizabeth Jamison. Formerly of Rome, Ohio, Alice was a resident of Andover, Ohio for many years. She was a Nursing Assistant for the former Miller Memorial Nursing Home of Andover and for the County Home in Ashtabula. Alice enjoyed quilting, crocheting, doing needle point along with baking and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis Weese, who died in August of 1994; and a son, Wess Weese. Survivors include her longtime companion, Terry L. Huffman of Andover, Ohio; a daughter, Lois A. (Tommy) Allison of Jamestown, Pennsylvania; a son, Jesse L. (JoAnn) Weese of Hartsgrove, Ohio; three brothers, Garry Soles of Tennessee, David and Guy Soles of West Virginia; two grandchildren; six step grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10:00am at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will follow in Rome Center Cemetery.
