ALICE CORA WILLIAMS, age 87, of Johnston township, Ohio, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Meadowbrook Manor Nursing Home in Hartford, OH. She was born July 21, 1920, in Sacoma, Virginia, the daughter of Edward B. Smith and Elizabeth F. (Flanary) Smith. Formerly of Blue Creek, Ohio, Mrs. Williams was a resident of Johnston since 1977. She was employed as a cook; and her hobbies included antiquing. She is survived by a son, Haskel (Gerry) Westmoreland of Johnston; a brother, James Smith, of Portsmouth, OH; a sister, Charlotte Muller, of Louisville, KY; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two great-great grandsons. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Haskel Westmoreland in 1978; her second husband, Arnold Williams in 2004; two sons, James Ray and Raymond Jack Westmoreland; one daughter, Doris Ann Cochran; three brothers, Junior, Stuart, and Oscar Smith; and one sister, Hazel Vickers. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH. A private burial will take place in Johnston Cemetery.
