Allan W. Hyde

Gustavus, Ohio - Allan W. Hyde, age 83, of Gustavus, Ohio, died on August 22, 2006 at his home. He was born on February 16, 1923 in Hartford, Ohio to Nelson A. Hyde and Carrie B. (Acre) Hyde. A lifelong Gustavus resident, Mr. Hyde was a 1941 graduate of Gustavus High School. Mr. Hyde owned and operated along with his brother Herald, the Hyde Brothers Farm in Gustavus. He was a member of the Gustavus Lodge #442 F & AM, the former Gustavus Grange, the Trumbull County Farm Bureau, and the Kinsman Conservation Club. Mr. Hyde enjoyed hunting and supported the Gustavus Federated Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Caroline Morris; three brothers, Ghordis, Herbert and Harold Hyde. Survivors include a sister Lydia E. Hyde of Warren, Ohio, and many neices and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 25, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of choice.
