Kinsman, Ohio - Andrew "Bundy" Bellas, 82, longtime resident of Kinsman, died on March 14, 2006 at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, Pennsylvania following a brief battle with cancer. He was born on December 12, 1923 in Maybeury, West Virginia to George and Elizabeth (Jacobs) Bellas. Mr. Bellas was a 1941 graduate of Hartford High School and served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Marvel M. Fobes on September 11, 1948. Mr. Bellas owned and operated American Gas and Oil Bulk station in Greenville, Pennsylvania for many years. After selling the business he independently drove truck for several more years. Mr. Bellas enjoyed playing golf and was a lifetime member of the Bronzwood Golf Course of Kinsman. He was a Nascar fan, and liked to garden and play cards with his family. Mr. Bellas is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Mike Bellas, George Bellas, Joe Bellas; three sisters, Anna Scholtmer, Elizabeth Tatro, and Mary Chizmar. Survivors include his wife of Kinsman, a son Richie Bellas, a daughter Cherry Bellas, both of Kinsman, grandson Joshua Ellwood-Bellas of Kinsman, sisters, Margaret Gergely of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, Helen Donich of Kirtland, Ohio, brothers Frank Bellas of Benezette, Pennsylvania and Steve Bellas of Warren, Ohio.
