Andrew Dale Hartman

A lifelong resident of Gustavus, Mr. Hartman was a 1934 graduate of Gustavus High School, where he was a member of the band, the basketball team and a pitcher for the baseball team. After high school he was active on the town's baseball team for many years. Mr Hartman was a lifelong Dairy Farmer as well. He owned and operated the Hartman's Curve View Farm. Mr. Hartman was a member for over 50 years of the Gustavus Federated Church. He was instrumental in the founding of the Gustavus Conservation Club, of which he was a lifetime member. He enjoyed fox and deer hunting. Mr. Hartman married Dorothy Anna Nippell on June 26, 1935. He is preceded in death by his parents, sons Ronald P. Sr. and Rodney L. Hartman and Grandson Jeffery R. Hartman. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 30, 2004 at 11am at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with the Rev. Steven W. Trimble officiating. Calling hours will be held Sunday, August 29, 2004 from 2pm to 5pm and on Monday one hour prior to the Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the church at 8850 State Rt. 193, Farmdale, OH 44417.
