Ann B. Armstrong, age 83, of Gustavus Township,OH, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was born June 21, 1922 in Hawk Run, Pennsylvania, to John and Mary (Fetcenko) Plevyak. Formerly of Fowler, Mrs. Armstrong had lived in Gustavus since 1963. She was employed by Kennametal Corporation in Orwell, retiring in 1987 after 18 years of service. She was a member of the Gustavus Federated Church; and was a volunteer for the Kinsman Nutrition Site. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, baking, flower gardening, playing cards, and she was an avid Jeff Gordon fan. Mrs. Armstrong married Paul C. Armstrong on Oct. 22, 1949, and was preceded in death by him on Oct. 23, 1996. Also preceding her in death are her son, Paul L. Armstrong, on April 2, 1977; a step granddaughter; two brothers, Albert and Alfred Plevyak; and two sisters, Mary Horvath, and Josephine Patton. Survivors include three sons, Gary (Linda) Armstrong of Cortland,OH, Dale (Brenda) Armstrong of Gustavus township, OH, and Todd (Malinda) Armstrong of Gustavus township,OH; one daughter, Cheryl Odvar of Gustavus township,OH; two step daughters, Paula (Fred) Fredrick of Brookfield,OH, and Karen (Fran) Maselli of Westerville,OH; one brother, Howard Plevyak of Warren,OH; two sisters, Gean Galbreath of Warren,OH, and Jane Wilkes of Cortland,OH; 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren; and 7 Step Grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St.,Kinsman, OH, with Rev. Steven Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Gustavus Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday, Oct. 2nd from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
