KINSMAN- Anna Gertrude Jackson, age 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2025. 

Anna was born February 9, 1929, to Philip and Anna (Nicholson) Dreer in Glassport, Pennsylvania. She married Howard Jackson March 4, 1950, having had 65 happily married years together. They moved to Kinsman in 1955 where they found a small, loving community in which to raise their children. 

Anna graduated from Warren G Harding High School and was a switchboard operator until the birth of her first child. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ for nearly 80 years where she was an organist, a Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Ladies Circle. She planned numerous church activities including picnics and Easter egg hunts and opened her home many times for church dinners.

Anna was a past trustee of the Nesface Food Pantry in Kinsman, and she participated in placing reminder calls to recipients for many years. She was known for wearing beautiful hats, her lovely cut-flower arrangements, and her delicious cookies and bread. 

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by both her husband, Howard and son, Philip in 2015 and her sisters Edna Kampert and Joyce Jackson. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Rosalie (Fred) Mott of Kinsman, Ohio and Mary (Jim) Else of Palmer, Alaska and her daughter-in-law, Francine Jackson of Kinsman, Ohio. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Rachel Yeager, Timothy Mott, Zachary Jackson, Megan Garcia, Andrew Jackson and Tyler Jackson, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. 

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:00AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ, 6000 Webber Cole Road, Kinsman, Ohio, where friends may call from 9:30AM to 11:00AM. No graveside service will be held. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ, 6000 Webber Cole Road, Kinsman Ohio 44428, where the monies will be donated in her memory to the Ladies Circle Fund.
