April "Sharon" Smith, age 59, of Lenox township, OH, a beloved family member, went to heaven on Friday, April 24, 2015. She was born August 20, 1955, in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of Donald E. and Frances (Smith) Jones. Sharon was a long time area resident and was employed most recently by the Village of Jefferson working at the Jefferson Community Center. She also worked at the Jefferson Diner; and formerly at Spring Team in Austinburg. Sharon was a Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Steelers fan; and she was an avid Elvis admirer. She is survived by her children, Donald (Steffany) Smith of Geneva, OH, James (Heather) Smith of Conneaut, OH, and Maggie Smith of Lenox township, OH; 13 Grandchildren; and her six siblings, William "Newton" Jones of Lakewood, OH, Ron (Cheryl) Jones of Pierpont, OH, Betty (Dave) Seiffert of Jefferson,OH, Arlene Hypes of Cleveland, OH, Martin "Skip" Jones of Pierpont, OH, and Carl "Peanut" Jones of Lenox township, OH; 6 nieces and nephews; and 11 great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Glover; and sister, Darline Lengyel. Sharon will be deeply missed by her family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH. Burial will follow in Lenox Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 28th from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
