Johnston, Ohio - Arlene Orissa Moherman, age 90, went home to be with her Lord, on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at her lifelong home in Johnston, Ohio. She was born on March 22, 1925 in Johnston, Ohio, a daughter of Maud (Hain) and Harry Leander Moherman. Arlene was a 1943 graduate of Johnston High School and attended Youngstown Business College. She was a bookkeeper for the former Wean Engineering of Youngstown, Ohio and continued to work for them when they moved to Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, retiring after working for over thirty years. She was a longtime member of the Johnston Federated Church, where she was a part of the Martha Circle. Arlene enjoyed flower gardening and tending her roses. She had a love for animals of any kind, music and sharing a meal with her friends at the Senior Center. Arlene loved to travel with her twin sister, Allene, with whom she shared a home. She is preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Allene A. Moherman and two infant brothers. Survivors include her brother, Harry (Rose) Moherman of Varazze, Italy; a niece, Patrizia Marioetti of Varazze, Italy two great nieces, Deborah and Aurora and a great nephew, Daniel. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00am at the Johnston Federated Church 6262 State Route 193, Cortland, Ohio, with Pastor Ron J. McIlvaine officiating. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Warren Family Mission, 1228 West Market Street, Warren, OH 44485.
