Arne R. Garde

Arne R. Garde, age 59, of Andover, Ohio, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Andover Village Retirement Community. He was born August 16, 1952, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, a son of Erik and Elizabeth (Nielsen) Garde. Formerly of Bridgeport, CT, Mr. Garde had lived in Andover for the past five years. He was employed as a security officer. He was a Civil War expert; and enjoyed attending many re-enactments of the war. He also was a model railroad enthusiast. Mr. Garde is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Garde of Vineyard Haven, MA, and Brian Garde of Oak Bluffs, MA; many nieces and nephews; and one great niece. He is preceded in death by his parents. Private burial of Mr. Garde's cremated remains will take place in Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport, CT.
