Barry V. Hersman

Barry V. Hersman, age 53, of Conneaut, OH, died Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Lake Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Conneaut,OH. He was born December 31, 1959, in Cleveland, OH, a son of Bruce N. and Darlene G. (Butler) Hersman. Formerly of Richmond township, OH, Barry was a resident of Conneaut for the past three years. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He belonged to the Reading Motorcycle Club and ABATE. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a strong supporter of the Perry Middle and High School football teams. Barry is survived by his wife, Mabel Hersman of Madison,OH; his step daughter, Crystal Lohr, daughter, Sonia Hersman, son, Corey Hersman, all of Madison, OH; two granddaughters, Veronica and Olivia; his mother, Darlene G. Hersman of Richmond township, OH; and his two sisters, Sheri Filichia of Richmond township, OH, and Daphne Nero of Bainbridge, OH. His father died just hours later on January 4, 2014. Barry will be cremated and no services held.
