Kinsman, Ohio - Beatrice L. Bell, age 80, died on Sunday, March 11, 2012. She was born on October 25, 1931, in Cherry Valley, Ohio, the daughter of Grace E. (Hayslett) and Merle A. Morford. A Kinsman resident since 1969, Bea was formerly of Williamsfield, Ohio where she was a 1949 graduate. On June 14, 1969 she married Paul H. Bell. He died on May 28, 1974. Bea was a secretary for Ohio Edison for over twenty years. She then worked for Mahoning National Bank in Kinsman and retired in 1993 after fourteen years. Bea was a member of the First Congregational Church in Andover, where she was the church treasurer since the 1960's and she also sang in the church choir. She loved flower gardening, doing needlework, was an avid reader and loved to bird watch. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her brother, Myron L. (Marjorie) Morford of Edinboro, Pennsylvania; a nephew, Gerald (Lori) Morford of Nicholasville, Kentucky and their sons, Jonathan & Joshua; a niece, Elaine (Tom) Carver of Wexford, Pennsylvania and their daughter, Chelsea. A funeral service will be held on Wednsday, March 14, 2012, at 2:00 pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Rev. Scott Ressman officiating. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednsday, March 14th from Noon until the time of services.
