Beth A. Nelson

Andover, Ohio - Beth A. Nelson, age 50, of Andover, Ohio, died on Friday, June 18, 2010, after an extended illness. She was born on May 21, 1960, in Columbus, Wisconsin, the daughter of Sheila J. (Bowers) and William Isenberg. Beth was a 1978 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School. She was a processor for Goodwill Industries of Andover, Ohio for over five years. On February 11, 1984 she married William D. Nelson. Beth was a member of the Williamsfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed country music, playing guitar, crocheting and she loved her dog, Lady. Preceding her in death are her parents and a brother, Vernon E. Isenberg. Survivors include her husband of twenty-six years, Bill Nelson of Andover, Ohio; a daughter, Samantha M. Nelson of Saybrook, Ohio; a son, Alex P. Nelson of Andover, Ohio; her step-mother, Alberta (Burt) Isenberg of Woodhull, New York; two step-daughters, Laura J. Nelson-York of Andover, Ohio and Karen H. Nelson-Miller of Asheville, North Carolina; two step-sons, J. Martin Nelson of Williamsfield and Matthew T. Nelson of Transfer, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Jamie, Yvonne and Michelle Isenberg of New York and Shannon L. Foster of Columbus, Ohio; nine step-grandchildren and five great step-children. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 5:00 PM at Williamsfield United Methodist Church with Pastor Pat Seger officiating. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3:00 PM until the time of services at 5:00 PM. A private burial will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover.
