Betty Lou Barr

BETTY LOU BARR, age 73, of Howland township, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. She was born June 15, 1935, in Johnston township, OH, the daughter of Lemuel A. and Florabel (White) Barr. A long time Howland resident, Ms. Barr was formerly of Farmdale, OH, and was employed by GE Trumbull Lamp in Warren for thirty six year. She was a member of the Champion Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and was active in their bible studies. She loved the Lord and is at peace now in heaven. Ms. Barr enjoyed reading, watching television, doing word search puzzles, and being with family. Ms. Barr is survived by a brother, Gene (Joan) Barr of Champion,OH, a sister, Shirley (Bob) McElrath of Vienna,OH, a brother, Chuck "Cub" (Becky) Barr of Clyde, OH, a sister, Darlene (John) Heflick of Fowler, OH, fourteen nieces and nephews, and nineteen great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Jim McElrath. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Champion Baptist Church.
