Betty C. Broberg

Betty Chase Broberg, age 85, of Andover, Ohio, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at White-Cliff Nursing Home in Greenville, PA. She was born December 8, 1924, in Groveport, Ohio, the daughter of Pearl M. (McKee) Hills. A resident of Andover for the past eight years, Mrs. Broberg was employed as secretary/treasurer for H. David Howe Architect in Beachwood, OH. In earlier years, she was a semi-professional stage actress. Her hobbies included reading, watching television, and playing Bingo. Mrs. Broberg married Lyle G. Chase on August 30, 1947. He and her second husband, Carl Broberg, precede her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents. She is survived by her four daughters, Chris Chase of Williamsfield,OH, Diane (Robert) Hollis of Williamsfield, OH, Peggy (Gary) Goucher of Brunswick, OH, and Linda (James) Hosko of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Acacia Memorial Park, 1880 Som Center Rd., Mayfield Heights, OH.
