Betty Jane Johnson

Betty Jane Johnson, age 91, of Mesa, Arizona, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in Arizona. She was born Oct. 14, 1920 in Creelman, Canada, a daughter of Thomas and Pearl (Higgins) Wright. Formerly of New Lyme township, OH, Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker. Her hobbies included playing guitar, singing, flower gardening; and she loved cats and birds. She married Lawrence M. Johnson, Sr. on April 25, 1942. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1994. Also preceding her in death are her son, Lawrence M. Johnson, Jr.; four grandchildren, Brian, Michelle, Brenda, and Michael Johnson; and two sisters, Lois Wright and Evelyn Koivisto. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly A. (Stanley) Bukoski of Arizona; and a nephew, Steven Koivisto. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover,OH.
