Beverly J. Bilek

Beverly J. Bilek, 85, a long time resident of Wayne township, OH, passed away on February 19, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio. Beverly was born August 10, 1938, in Jamestown, NY.  She was a loving wife to John F. Bilek and a dedicated mother to Dennis J. Bilek and Jim A. (Donna) Bilek. Beverly was a cherished grandmother to Crystal Braessler, Samantha Bilek, David Henshaw, D.J. Bilek, Alex Bilek, and Hannah (Ethan) Pawlowski. She also leaves behind two step-grandchildren Bridgette and Jennifer, along with numerous great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings, her twin Barbara J. (William) Waiter of Wattsburg, PA; June M. (Don) Morey of Union City, PA; Thomas (Heidi) Bird of Arizona; and her two half siblings, Doris and Thomas.

Beverly had a fulfilling career working at The Andover Bank and The Marine Bank in Erie, PA, as well as Country Neighbor and The Lil Store for many years. She was a proud 1956 graduate of McDowell High School in Erie, PA. Beverly's hobbies included crafts, gardening and ceramics which she enjoyed throughout her life.  Beverly was a member of the First Congregational Church of Wayne, the Wayne Missionary Society, and the Ashtabula County Farm Bureau. 

In her passing due to an unfortunate automobile accident, Beverly is reunited with her father James H. Bird and mother Doris N. (Phillips) Swan. 

Beverly will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She touched the hearts of all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her loved ones and friends.

May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy lives on through those whose lives she has touched during her time with us.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St.,Andover, OH, with Pastor William Siekkinen officiating.  Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery in Wayne township.  Calling hours are Sunday, February 25th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.  Share a fond memory or condolence at www.baumgardnerfuneralhome.com
