Beverly A. Derezick

Beverly A. Derezick, age 72, of Hartsgrove township, OH, died Monday, July 18, 2016, at her home. She was born September 14, 1943, in Andover,OH, a daughter of Joseph J. and Margaret (Steen) Hunter. Mrs. Derezick was a long time Hartsgrove resident and formerly of Dorset and Andover, where she was a graduate of Andover High School. She attended Kent State University following graduation. She was employed for many years as secretary at Temple-Inland Packaging in Madison, OH, retiring in 2005. Mrs. Derezick was a member of the Hartsgrove Community U.C.C. Church. She was a former 4-H advisor; and her hobbies included crafts and reading. She enjoyed nature and loved to travel with her sister. Mrs. Derezick married Joseph A. Derezick on November 23, 1963; and he preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2015. She is also preceded by her parents; one brother, Warren Hunter; and two sisters, Martha Kampmoyer and Betty Stark. She is survived by her daughter, Holly J. Derezick of Hartsgrove township,OH; and her brother, Donald Hunter of Middlefield, OH. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 10:30 AM at the Hartsgrove Community U.C.C. Church, 5260 St. Rt. 6, Hartsgrove township,OH. A luncheon will follow the service. Private burial of Mrs. Derezick's cremated remains will take place later in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover, OH.
