Bruce L. Bryan, age 56, of Como, Colorado, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008, of a massive heart attack in his truck delivering to California. He was born April 28, 1951, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Arden L. and Martha M. (Lipps) Bryan. Formerly of Wayne township, Ohio, Bruce had been living in Colorado for the past ten years. He was a 1969 Pymatuning Valley High School graduate. Bruce served in the U.S. Marines in the Vietnam War where he earned the Purple Heart. Following his enlistment in the Marines, Bruce served in the National Guard in Youngstown for a year. After his military discharge, he worked the oil fields. Bruce was employed by Ditech Trucking Company, the former Manfredi, for the last ten years with a total of twenty years as a truck driver. Bruce attended the First Congregational Church of Wayne in Ohio; the Jefferson Community Church in Jefferson, Colorado; and the Calvary Baptist Church in Engelwood, Colorado. He enjoyed hiking in the mountains; playing guitar; fishing; hunting and trapping. Bruce was a true kind hearted person. He is survived by his wife, Thuthuy Huynh Bryan, whom he married April 2, 2002, of Como, CO; two daughters, Jessica L. (Joel) Baldwin of Sheffield township, OH, and Kelly L. (Jeff) Cox of Cleveland,OH, three sons, Joshua T. Bryan of Columbus,OH, Ross L. Bryan of Denver, CO, and Espy Huynh Bryan of Como, CO; his parents, Arden L. and Martha M. Bryan of Wayne township,OH; three sisters, Jackie (Dan) Shilling of Jefferson,OH, Teresa Jones of Wayne township, OH, and Janette Bryan of Andover, OH; one brother, Jeffery Bryan of Dorset, OH; three grandchildren, Sydney and Seth Baldwin, and Anthony Cox; and his former wife, Lyn Heath of Ashtabula, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Blanche Bryan, and Lewis and Lenna Lipps. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 1;00 P.M. at the First Congregational Church of Wayne, corners of St. Rt. 193 and 322, with David Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery, Wayne township, OH. Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 24th from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH.
