Williamsfield, Ohio - Bud A. Fleming, age 68, passed on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at his home, with his family by his side. He was born on January 8, 1939, in Geneva, Pennsylvania, to Walter E. and Helen M. (McChesney) Fleming. A lifelong Williamsfield resident, Mr. Fleming was a 1958 Williamsfield High School graduate. Mr. Fleming served in the United States Army. He was a meat cutter for over fifty years, retiring July 1st of this year, after thirteen years of employment with Giant Eagle on Elm Road, Warren, Ohio. Mr. Fleming attended the Andover Christian Church and enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, gardening, yard work and helping others. On June 13, 1959, he married Judith R. Bush. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roy Fleming. Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Judy, of Williamsfield; a son, Jeffrey B. and wife Lisa Fleming of Wayne; a daughter, Melissa M. Griffith of Williamsfield; seven grandchildren, Brandy, Brian, Dustin, Kendall, Ryan and his wife Stephanie, Chase and Kenna; two great grandchildren, Austin and Hope; two brothers, Richard Fleming of Greenville, Pennsylvania and Kenneth Fleming of Kinsman; and two sisters, Eulalia Diday and Glennice Sparber both of Andover. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with Pastor Robert C. Gears officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsfield Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 23rd from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
