Carl Timothy Lester, age 58, of Kinsman,OH, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, in Warren, OH. He was born March 5, 1951, in Blue Jay, West Virginia, the son of Jack Dempsey Lester and Arlene (Lily) Lester Haun. Formerly of Warren, Carl had been a long time Kinsman resident. He retired after many years of service for Penske, Inc. in Lordstown as a diesel mechanic and welder. He was formerly employed for eleven years by McLean's Trucking in West Middlesex, PA. Carl was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson; loved having family get togethers; and especially loved helping those around him. Carl enjoyed his remote control airplanes, playing pool, gardening, cooking, and canning. He also loved the outdoors, birds, golfing, fishing, hunting, and his dog. He is survived by his wife, Janice A. (Burr) Lester, whom he married May 18, 1971, of Kinsman; his five daughters, Rachelle Lester of West Hills, CA, Lori Betts of Howland,OH, Tricia Lester and husband, Danny, of Howland,OH, Amanda Lester of Kinsman, and Christina Hunkus and husband, Scott, of Kinsman; eight grandchildren, Alex, Jeff, Jaky, Jon, Buddy, Carl Timothy, Paige, and Preston; four brothers, Tommy, Billy, Jack, and Jim; and three sisters, Sheila, Tori, and Retha. He is preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at 5:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH.
