Charles H. Bentley

CHARLES H. BENTLEY Sr, age 68, died on September 1, 2005, following an abdominal aneurysm which could not be repaired, in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born on May 6, 1938 in Mineral Ridge,Ohio to Edward L. and Nellie V. (Jones) Bentley. Formerly of Kinsman, Ohio, Mr. Bentley was residing in Guntersville, Alabama for the past 10 years. Mr. Bentley was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He was a self employed mechanic. He married Linda O. West on September 12, 1968. She died on August 23, 1991. Mr. Bentley loved tinkering with cars and fishing; and enjoyed being outside, watching squirrles and listening to golden oldies music. Along with his wife, his is preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Jesse James Bentley, a granddaughter, Kalleen Bentley, and a brother Butch Bentley. Mr. Bentley is survived by 3 sons, Charles H. Bentley Jr. of Greenville, PA, Danny R. Bentley of Greenville, PA, Sidney E. Bentley of Guntersville, Alabama; 7 daughters, Franette Kainee, of Boaz, Alabama, Nora O. Calvin, of Greenville, PA, Charlotte E. Bentley of Greenville, PA, Tammy J. Bentley of Scottsboro, Alabama, Suellen Cornell of Kinsman, Ohio, Jennifer R. Bentley of Guntersville, Alabama, Lassie A. Bentley of Guntersville, Alabama; 4 brothers, Abe Bentley of Andover, Ohio, Lewis Bentley of Jamestown, PA, Frank Bentley of Meadville, PA, Buddy Barnes of Red Bluff, California; 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 from Noon to 2:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with a graveside services immediately following at Williamsfield Center Cemetery, with Rev.
