Charles K. "Butch" Bartley,

Charles K. "Butch" Bartley, Jr., age 68, died on Friday, July 3, 2009, at his home. He was born June 7, 1941, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, to Charles K. and Alice (Cooper)Bartley. Mr. Bartley was the head of maintenance at the Ashtabula County Sanitation Dept., where worked for the past 18 years. He was a musician and was voted Best Bass Player in Western Pennsylvania. Mr. Bartley enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering with tractors, and was known to fix just about anything. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra J. (Davis), whom he married on September 21, 1983; and his parents. Survivors include his daughter, Sherrace (Bruce) MacCannell of Delaware; his sons, Charles K. (Carrie) Bartlet III of West Sunbury, PA and Anthony J. Bartley of Newell, WV; a special friends of the family, Denise L. Conn and April S. Meeusen, both of Conneaut Lake, PA; five grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
