Charles L. Nelson

d. July 6, 2006

CHARLES L. NELSON, 68, of Andover, Ohio--- The wife was crying she couldn't hold back her tears. They had been married for fifty years. They sold their home and built their dream house, the place they had worked and planned for. So long, now the hard times were over and the children grown. They could enjoy their lives. But her husband got cancer, it just didn't seem right. This is some thing that happens to someone we all know, no matter where we live or where we go. We all have our dreams of how our golden years will be, but we never know what God has planned for you or me. Sometimes our dreams are shattered and we don't know what to do, we have to keep our faith and pray God knows what we are going through. Charles L. Nelson, 68, died Thursday, July 6, 2006 at his home. He was born Dec. 6, 1937 in New Castle, PA, son of the late Robert L. and Florence (Cox) Nelson. He is survived by his wife, Eugenia, whom he married April 10, 1956; two daughters, Sherry (Stephen) Forsyth of California, and Sandy Nelson of Polk, PA; two grandsons, Sam Varano, Jr. of New Bedford, PA, and Steven Varano of New Jersey; one granddaughter, Jeannine Forsyth , serving our country in Iraq; three great grandsons, Anthony, Steven, and Ryan; one great granddaughter, Madison; one sister, Sally Monsour and nephew, Joe Monsour, both of New Castle, PA. Charles is preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Jason Monsour. Charles was employed by North Star Steel in Youngstown, Ohio as a supervisor for many years. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, water skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and he loved the outdoors. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. No calling hours or services will be held. Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio, handled arrangements. Guestbook available at www.baumgardnerfuneralhome.com
