Clark D. Sherman, age 77, of Andover, Ohio, died Wednesday, November 20,2013, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, PA. He was born December 4, 1935, in Chesterland, OH, a son of Leroy and Nellie (DeGreen) Sherman. Formerly of Cherry Valley township, Mr. Sherman lived in Andover for the past fifty years. He was employed by Andover Industries for many years; and for Service Guide, Inc., in Cortland, OH, for thirty years. He attended the Rock of Grace Family Ministries Church. Mr. Sherman was a member of the Ashtabula County Coon Hunters Association; and he belonged to many bowling leagues over the years in Jefferson, Conneaut Lake, Greenville, and Meadville. He bowled a total of three "300" games. He also enjoyed doing yard work and bird watching. Mr. Sherman is survived by his wife, Marge B. Sherman, whom he married April 2, 1960, of Andover,OH; his two daughters, Kim (Paul) Edwards of Kinsman,OH, and Barb Allen of Cortland,OH; five grandchildren, J.R. Polk, Jamie Gibson, Jenna Weaver, Justin Polk, and Crystal Allen; and two great grandchildren, Laci Gibson and Faith Noelle Gibson. He is preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Leroy, Earl, and Wade Sherman. A funeral service will be Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Biel officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. Calling hours will be Friday, November 22nd from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and also on Saturday, November 23rd from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
