Daniel "Beans" Reardon

Daniel "Beans" Reardon, age 67, of Gustavus township, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Sharon Regional Health System in Sharon, PA. He was born December 31, 1943, in Sharon, PA, a son of Leo Hubert and Mary Camilla (Malia) Reardon. Formerly of Sharon, Mr. Reardon had lived in Gustavus for the past forty years. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Reardon was employed by Sharon Steel for over 25 years before they closed; and retired from Sharon Tube. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kinsman, Ohio; the national VFW; and the NRA. Mr. Reardon enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Bronzwood Golf Course. He also loved to play baseball and travel. He was an avid hunter and made several trips out west and to Africa. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Mr. Reardon is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Holbrooks) Reardon, whom he married January 31, 1969, of Gustavus, OH; his daughter, Dorothy Stewart of Gustavus,OH; his two sons, Tim (Kim) Reardon of Southington, OH, and Sean Reardon of Gustavus, OH; his sister, Sally Canale of Cleveland,OH; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and ten siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6397 St. Rt. 87, Kinsman, Ohio, with Rev. James Reardon as celebrant. Burial will follow in Gustavus Cemetery.
