Williamsfield, Ohio - Darlene Marie Tabor, age 78, died on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was born on February 16, 1934, in Dorset, Ohio, the daughter of Elsie Marie (George) and Darwin Randolph Fuller. Mrs. Tabor was a 1953 graduate of Williamsfield High School and a lifelong Williamsfield resident. She helped on the family dairy farm and was custodian for Pymatuning Valley Schools from 1985 until she retired in 2002. On October 18, 1953 she married Gary Allen Tabor. Mrs. Tabor was a member of the Williamsfield Methodist Church and the Wayne Historical Society. She enjoyed baking, cooking her family favorites, going to car shows and spending time with her family. Mrs. Tabor is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Fuller. Survivors include her husband of fifty-eight years, Gary Allen Tabor of Williamsfield, Ohio; two daughters, Darla G. (Dennis) Bates of Williamsfield, Ohio and Jill M. (Mike) Mekeal of Munroe Falls, Ohio; two sons, Lynn A. (Jackie) Tabor and James C. (Lori) Tabor both of Williamsfield, Ohio; 8 grandchildren, Bill (Jenn) Bates, Becky (Mike) Rowan, Angie (Jared) Lemons, Katie Tabor, Randy Tabor, JC Tabor, Nicole Tabor and Andrew Mekeal; 4 great grandchildren, Jackson, Elliott, Abigail and Allyson and a sister, Marge (Clark) Sherman of Andover, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 1:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with David Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsfield Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 7th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home and on Thursday from Noon until the time of services.
