Darline Lengyel

Andover, Ohio - Darline "Dar" Lengyel, age 50, died on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Hospice House of Poland after a year long battle with cancer. She was born on December 25, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Frances Elizabeth Tessie (Smith) and Donald Emery Jones. Dar was a Cleveland Browns and Indians fan and enjoyed playing cards and riding her 4-wheeler. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George W. Lengyel, who died in 1989 and a brother, Kenneth H. Glover. Survivors include two daughers, Angelique E. "Angie" and husband Kenneth Fenslage of Jefferson, Ohio, and Irene E. Lengyel of Andover, Ohio; her twin sister, Arlene Hypes of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, A. Sharon Smith of Dorset and Betty Jean and husband Dave Sieffert of Mesa, Arizona; four brothers, W. Newton Jones of Cleveland, Ohio, Ronald and wife Cheryl Jones of Pierpont, Ohio, Martin "Skip" Jones of Pierpont, Ohio and Carl "Peanut" Jones of Dorset, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kyle, Kaylee, Austin and Adam; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio. Burial will follow in Lenox Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 14th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
