Vernon, Ohio - David S. Deraway, age 49, died on Thursday, June 14, 2007, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on July 29, 1957 in Sayre, Pennsylvania to Jack C. an Shirley L. (Rinehuls) Deraway. Formerly of Kinsman, Mr. Deraway was a resident of Vernon for the past seventeen years. He attended Joseph Badger High School. Mr. Deraway was a supervisor for many years for the Gulf Coast Dismantling and Salvage company of Kinsman. He enjoyed restoring old cars, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Mr. Deraway is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. Survivors include his fiancee of seventeen years, Judy A. Moore of Vernon, Ohio; his daughter Rachel A. Fox of Mecca, Ohio; step-daughters, Michele (Chet) Deraway of Kinsman, and Nicole (Mark) Kidwell of Fowler, Ohio; his mother, Shirley L. Davis of Kinsman, Ohio; four brothers, John C.(Mary Lou) Deraway of Girard, Ohio, William S. Deraway of Gafney, South Carolina, Timothy A. (Linda) Deraway and Richard C. Deraway both of Kinsman, Ohio; a sister, Jacqueline M. (Gary) Weitzel of Howland, Ohio; three grandsons, Caden and William Fox, and Brent Kidwell; and nieces and nephews, Justin, Emma, Kelsey, Kimberly, Robert, Samantha, John, Chet, Jack, Scarlette, Billy, Heather, Adam, Daniel, Ian, Justin, Amelia and Stacey. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery.
