David A. Lane

Andover, Ohio - David A. Lane, age 61, died at his home on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, with his family by his side. He was born on February 14, 1950, in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Katherine Faye (DiBell) and Robert Alvin Lane. Mr. Lane was a roofer for the Local No. 44 out of Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of the Leon United Methodist Church. Mr. Lane enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul and Ronald Lane. Survivors include his wife, Roberta K. (Heasley) Lane of Andover, Ohio, his son, Timothy D. Lane of Dorset, Ohio; two daughters, Tracey L. Lane of Kinsman, Ohio and Tara M. Goldsmith of Louisville, Kentucky; a step-daughter, Tiffanie J. Nelson of Madison, Ohio; three step-sons Deon L. Heasley and Jason T. Heasley both of Ashtabula, Ohio and Gary W. Nelson of Conneaut, Ohio; seven sisters, Jack (Donald) Offutt of New Lyme, Ohio, Ruth (John) Martin of Dorset, Ohio, Roberta (Larry) Burdick of Andover, Ohio, Carol Snyder of Pierpont, Ohio, Barbara (Kevin) White of Andover, Kathy (Stan) Bragg of Charlotte, North Carolina and Delores Jones of Glendale, Arizona; a brother, Alan Lane of Pierpont, Ohio and nine grandchildren. A gathering will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 2:00pm at the Leon United Methodist Church on Stanhope Kelloggsville Road in Richmond Township.
