Dean J. Reed

Dean J. Reed, age 42, of Williamsfield, Ohio, died on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at his home after a brief illness. He was born on March 18, 1969 in Greenville, Pennsylvania the son of Pamela I. (Vogt) and David W. Reed. A lifelong area resident, Dean was a 1987 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School. On December 17, 1992 he married Shannon M. Schulz. Dean was employed by Western Reserve in Andover and formerly worked at Kay Dee in Orwell, Ohio. He was a member of the National Kennel Club, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dean is preceded in death by his father, David W. Reed; an infant brother, Dwayne Reed; a nephew, Caleb Weldy; his maternal grandparents, Sarah and William Vogt and his paternal grandmother, Marian Reed. Survivors include his wife of eighteen years, Shannon M. Reed of Williamsfield, Ohio; his mother, Pamela I. Reed of Wayne, Ohio; his sister, Roberta (Brian) Weldy of Dorset, Ohio; his paternal grandfather, Harold Reed of Williamsfield, Ohio; a nephew, Shane Weldy and his In-Laws, Beverly and William Schulz. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio.
