Deborah K. Higley

Deborah K. Higley, 67, of Round O, South Carolina passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2017. She was born August 5, 1949 to Loren and Eris Werstler. Debbie was a very loving and giving person. Always putting the needs of others first. She enjoyed caring for her family, cooking, reading a good book, and pampering her beloved pets, Toby, Buddy, and Jasmine. She is survived by her three sons; John (Julie) Higley of Pierpont, OH, William (Noemi) Higley of Brockton, MA, and Eric (Tonia) Higley of Warren, OH, her grandchilden; Sarah, Kanyon, Hannah, Denise, Christopher, Mark Jr., Becka, Austin, Alexis, and Alivia. Her great granddaughter; Addyson, her brother; Jeffrey Werstler of Round O, SC, and many other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother; Sherman Werstler, and sister; Bonnie Hanson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Andover United Methodist Church, 181 South Main Street, Andover, Ohio at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jason Hockran officiating with a dinner to follow until 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family and then divided amongst a local animal shelter and a battered womens home in her area.
