Deborah C. Lewis

Deborah C. Lewis, age 52, of Richmond township, Ohio, died Saturday, December 7, 2013. She was born July 3, 1961, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, a daughter of Alfred Freeman and Betty J. (Bates) Engel. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School; and a long time area resident. Deborah was very active in 4-H as an advisor for "Minds on the Go"; and she also served on various committees. She attended the Leon United Methodist Church. Deborah is survived by her husband, Carl R. Lewis, whom she married April 12, 1980, of Richmond township, OH; her daughter, Savannah D. Lewis of Richmond township, OH; her three sisters, Erica Engel of Richmond township, OH, Nancy Gruskiewicz of Kinsman, OH, and Linda Bishop of Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013, at 6:00 PM at the Leon United Methodist Church, 3599 Stanhope Kelloggsville Rd., Dorset, OH, with Rev. Vernon Palo officiating.
