Howland, Ohio - Dennis Michael Sharp, Sr., age 57, died on Monday, June 6, 2011 at St. Joseph Health Care Center in Warren, Ohio. He was born on February 22, 1954 in Marlinton, West Virginia, the son of Mary Margaret (Tacy) and Stanford L. Sharp. He was a 1972 graduate of Central Hower High School in Akron, Ohio. Formerly of Dayton, Ohio, Denny was a Howland resident for the past ten years. He served in the United States Marine Corps and in the Ohio National Guard. Denny was a computer analyst for EDS Systems for many years. He was a member of the Shiloh Full Gospel Church of Liberty. Denny formerly was very involved in Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Howland American Legion #700. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle and making cards and crafts. Denny is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Sharp. Survivors include his wife of ten years, Priscilla Elaine (Bell) Sharp whom he married on May 26, 2001, of Howland, Ohio; his daughter, Deanna M. Sharp of Indianapolis, Indiana, and his son, Dennis Michael (Carissa) Sharp, Jr. of West Jordan, Utah; two grandchildren, Riley Sharp and Kaden Biddy; his parents, Mary and Stanford Sharp of Buckhannon, West Virginia, and two brothers, Robert Sharp of Glassport, Pennsylvania and David Sharp of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011, at 6:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 P.M. until the time of services. Burial of cremated remains will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Fairview West Virginia.
