D. Evelyn Davis

Andover, Ohio – D. Evelyn Davis, age 96, went home to be with her Savior on Saturday, October 5, 2013. She was born on November 13, 1916, in Williamsfield, Ohio, a daughter of Ethel Bertha (Muse) and Fred Hiram Case. Mrs. Davis was a 1934 graduate of Andover High School. She was a member of the Andover Christian Church. Mrs. Davis was an inspector for the Andover GE Plant for over thirty years and retired in 1980. On December 7, 1936 she married Howard W. “Spike” Davis and precedes her in death in 1980. She is also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sandra Lee Bartley; a grandson, Matthew Kaipainen and a sister, Orlena H. Leroy. Survivors include her daughter, Serena S. Togger of Andover; two sons, LeRoy H. Davis of Westford, Pennsylvania and Fred E. Davis of Andover; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 11:00am at the West Andover Cemetery on Stanhope Kelloggsville Road, Andover, Ohio.
