Donald G. Haun

Donald G. Haun, Jr., age 67, of Johnston, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at his home, with his family by his side. He was born April 12, 1944, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son of Donald G. Haun, Sr. and Iverne (Hill) Haun. A resident of Johnston for the past thirty years, Mr. Haun was formerly of Fowler. He retired from GM in Lordstown after thirty years of service. He was a member of the Rock of Grace Church of Kinsman. He enjoyed being a handyman and doing projects around his home; and helping friends and family as well. He is survived by his wife, Janet E. (Thompson) Haun, whom he married April 4, 1964, of Johnston; his two sons, Greg (Ivy) Haun of Dallas, Texas, and Joe (Donna) Haun of Cortland, Ohio; his father, Donald G. Haun of Johnston, Ohio; his four grandchildren, Cameron (Alysha), Briana, Joey, and Mannie; his one great granddaughter, Brooke; his brother, Bill Haun of Cortland, Ohio; and his sister, Beverly Carabelos of Denver, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his mother. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 11:00am at the Rock of Grace Church, 6745 State Route 5, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will follow in Johnston Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 17th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the church.
