Donald Walter Swallow, 59 years old, of Andover, Ohio, died on Saturday, May 22, 2004, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Donald was born on June 16, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Wilbur Swallow and the late Mary (Priebe) Swallow. Formerly of Painesville, Ohio, Mr. Swallow has lived in Andover for the past 20 years. He was a 1962 graduate of Madison Memorial High School. He was a self employed carpenter for many years. He served as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Donald was a member of the Triandria Masonic Lodge of Rock Creek, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Pymatuning Aerie #4035, Andover, the Cache #027 Knights Templar in Conneaut, Ohio, and the Percy D. Hyatt Post #226 American Legion, Andover. His hobbies included fishing and golfing. Mr. Swallow married Margie Rieske on March 26, 1976. Preceding him in death are his parents and infant son, Bryan Swallow. He is survived by his wife, Margie R. Swallow of Andover, OH; his daughter, Phyllis Morris of Denver, CO; his daughter, Jennifer (Donald) Mladek of Lakewood, OH; his sister, Eileen (Carl) Brockway of Kingsville, OH; his brother, Richard (Johanna) Swallow of Madison, OH; his granddaughters, Ashley Morris and Elizabeth Morris; and Grandson, Nathan Mladek. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2004, at 2:00p.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio, with Rev. Jeffrey Stoll officiating. Masonic rites and Fraternal Order of Eagles services will also be held. Burial of cremated remains will take place in Madison Memorial Cemetery, Madison, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family.
