Donna R. Ruhl

Donna R. Ruhl, age 73, of Gustavus township, OH, died Sunday, August 20, 2017, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, OH. She was born May 1, 1944, in Vernon township, OH, a daughter of Donald E. and Lucy Rosalie (Gribble) Hipkins. A resident of Gustavus, Mrs. Ruhl formerly lived in Billings, Montana for many years where she was employed at a local school district in food service. She was a member of the Crossroads Christian Fellowship Church in Greenville, PA. She enjoyed doing various crafts and loved being a good homemaker. Mrs. Ruhl is survived by her husband, David W. Ruhl, whom she married June 23, 1962, of Gustavus township, OH; her two daughters, LaTece Ruhl of Oregon, and Jennifer (Jason) Sery of Oregon; 7 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; and her 4 sisters, Patricia Hipkins of Pennsylvania, Jean Forster of Farmdale, OH, Lynn Hipkins of Tennessee, and Vicky Glancy of Montana. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Dennis Hipkins. A private graveside service will be held at West View Cemetery in Vernon, OH. A Celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the Crossroads Christian Fellowship Church, 805 Vernon Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.
