Donna Jean Singrey, 88, of Williamsfield, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, in Warren, OH, with family by her side. She was born July 23, 1935, in Colebrook,OH, the daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille (Stansberry) White. A lifelong resident of Williamsfield, Donna was a 1953 graduate of Williamsfield High School. She married Raymond E. Singrey on September 4, 1953.
In addition to being a homemaker, Donna worked in Wayne for Kinsman Manufacturing assembling pogo sticks, for the Boleratz potato farm in Andover, and the county election board. Donna also helped her parents make maple syrup. She loved cooking, gardening, watching Nascar-Team Blaney and weekly card parties. Since a young age she had a love of animals, especially horses and cats. Her favorite pastime was sitting on her porch enjoying nature. Donna was a member of the West Williamsfield Congregational Church, a past member of the Mother's Club, the P. Buckley Moss Society, and the Williamsfield Grange.
She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa (Joseph) Martello and Michele (William) Springer, both of Cortland, OH; sister, Barbara Haynam of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Dr. Derek (Dr. Abigael Amheiser) Singrey, Travis (Melissa) Springer, and Ashley (Brett) Siglow; and great grandchildren, Isaac and Hannah Singrey, Olivia and Levi Springer, Bryce Siglow and baby girl Siglow due in July. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her son, David Singrey; and brother, Ronald White.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. Burial will follow in West Williamsfield Cemetery.
