Dora Ann Liccardi

Andover, Ohio - Dora Ann Liccardi, age 76, died on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at her residence under the loving care of her children. She was born on March 8, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles H. and Golda V. (Patchin) Wagner. A longtime Andover resident, Mrs. Liccardi was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover. Mrs. Liccardi enjoyed making candy, especially chocolates, doing crafts, and playing bingo, yattzee and penny poker. She also enjoyed her dogs, Ziggy and Buzzy. On September 10, 1951, she married Charles P. Liccardi, Sr. He died on December 6, 1998, after 47 years of marriage. Also preceding her in death are her parents; a daughter Angie Liccardi; a brother, Clyde Wagner and a sister, Laura Harrington. Survivors include seven sons, Anthony (Debbie) Liccardi, Pietro Liccardi, Charles (Kim) Liccardi III, Frank (Donna) Liccardi, and Paul (Janet) Liccardi, all of Warren, Ohio, Richard Liccardi and Doug Liccardi both of Andover, Ohio; three daughters, Angie (Larry) Long of Warren, Ohio, Patricia (Rob) Switzer of Dayton, Tennessee, and Geraldine Liccardi of Warren, Ohio; nineteen grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren; and a sister Pam (Jay) Crooks of Kentucky. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with Rev. Kevin McCaffrey officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.
