Dorothy Jean Nicholson Vargo

DOROTHY JEAN NICHOLSON VARGO, age 56, of Richmond Township, Ohio, died Thursday, January 12, 2006, at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born October 10, 1949, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, to Kenneth and Dorothy L. (Klink) Nicholson. Formerly of Willoughby, Mrs. Vargo was a long time Andover area resident. She was employed as an L.P.N. for Broadfield Manor Nursing Home in Madison, Staff Builders Home Care, and Miller Memorial Health Care Center. Her hobbies included gardening, quilting, boating, and camping, but she mostly loved to spend time with her family. Mrs. Vargo is survived by her husband, Sigmund J. Vargo, whom she married June 6, 1982; two sons, Ervin S. Bittinger and Dominick D. Barricklow, both of Richmond Township, OH; a daughter, Darla J. Duane of Uniontown, OH; her mother, Dorothy L. Nicholson of Kirtland,OH; one grandson, Tyler E. Duane of Uniontown, OH, and a grandson due in April; five brothers, Kenneth Nicholson of Kirtland, OH, David Nicholson of Ravenna,OH, Terry Nicholson of Kirtland,OH, Timothy Nicholson of Willowick, OH, and Ronald Nicholson of Lynchburg, VA; and two sisters, Kimberly Tyler of Eastlake, OH, and Deborah Fillar of Mentor, OH. She is preceded in death by her father and a brother, Allen Dale Nicholson. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2006 at 2:30 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover,OH, with Rev. Fred Grimm officiating. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service at 2:30 P.M.
