Earl Ray Farmer, age 52, of Dorset, Ohio, died Saturday, August 6, 2005 at his daughter�s residence in Madison, OH. He was born January 4, 1953 in Mingo County, West Virginia, to Earl and Gladys Varney Farmer. A long time Dorset township resident, Ray was employed in construction as a heavy laborer for many years. Ray enjoyed hunting and being with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and two bothers, Eugene and Bob Farmer. He is survived by his wife, Eugenie Levkanich Farmer, of Dorset; four sons, Shane Farmer of Batavia, NY, Clinton Molly Farmer of Rome, OH, Earl Ray Sharon Farmer, Jr. of Perry, OH, and Jimi Farmer of Madison, OH; four daughters, Brandy Billy Brown of Andover, OH, Ginger Adam Farmer of Andover, OH, Tammi Earl Farmer of Andover, OH, and Angel Davis of Madison, OH; three sisters, Mabel Bolen of Cherry Valley township, OH, Sandra Elliott of Lucasville, OH and Donna Faye Beckner of Newton Falls, OH; six brothers, Jerry Farmer of Cleveland, OH, Roby Farmer of New Lyme township, OH, Donald Farmer of Cherry Valley township, OH, Jack Farmer of Columbus, OH, Columbus Farmer of Jefferson, OH and Steve Farmer of Virginia; 16 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH, with his brother Reverend Jack Farmer officiating. A graveside service for burial of his cremated remains will take place on Friday, August 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Dorset Cemetery, Marrian Rd., Dorset Township, OH. Call hours will be on Tuesday, August 9th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
