Kinsman, Ohio â�" Easly Mott, age 86, died on Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, Pennsylvania. She was born on January 17, 1921, in Niles, Ohio, to Peter and Mary (Joy) Verina. A longtime Kinsman resident, Mrs. Mott was a 1938 graduate of Kinsman High School. She was a cook for Vernon School before becoming a waitress for Golden Gate Restaurant of Warren, Ohio, for over thirty years. Mrs. Mott was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Kinsman, where she was a member of the Ladies Circle. She enjoyed reading and baking. Her grandchildren were recipients of many of her pies, cookies and pizza. Mrs. Mott is preceded in death by her husband Milton Edward Mott, whom she married on April 12, 1940. Also preceded her in death, are her parents, and a son, Gerald Edward Mott, three sisters, Josephine Mott, Dorothy Dunfee and Marie Brainard; and three brothers, James, Daniel and Alfred Verina. Survivors include her son, Frederick and wife Rosalie Mott of Kinsman, a half brother, Peter Verina; five grandchildren, Rachel Yeager, Timothy Mott, Lisa Marciel, Leslie Bates and Christopher Mott; and seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Noon, at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio with Philip Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in West View Cemetery, Vernon, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
