Edward Zarzcynski

Wayne, Ohio - Edward Zarczynski, age 75, died at his home with his family by his side on Monday, March 25, 2013. He was born on June 27, 1937, in Malynsk, Poland, a son of Aniela (Rosewicz) and Walter Zarczynski. Mr. Zarczynski served in the United States Army from 1960 until 1962. A Wayne resident for many years, Mr. Zarczynski married Gudrun Rosemary Wassmann on February 10, 1962. He worked for Acme and then Harris Intertype both of Cleveland before working for Redan Machine in Andover and Presrite in Jefferson where he retired in 2004. Mr. Zarczynski attended the Wayne First Congregational Church and had a love of tinkering, going fishing, playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and taking care of his lawn. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Edward J. Zarczynski; a grandson, Edward D. Zarczynski; a sister, Christine Sheman and a brother, Eugene Zarczynski. Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Gudrun R. Zarczynski of Wayne, Ohio; three daughters, Terry A. Beveridge of Boardman, Ohio, Suzanne R. Zarczynski of Wayne, Ohio and Elizabeth A. Zarczynski of Williamsfield, Ohio; a son, James E. (Joanne) Zarczynski of Villa Rica, Georgia; two sisters, Terry (Richard) Kozak of Brunswick, Ohio and Sue Rose of Lakewood, Ohio; two brothers, Jozef Zarczynski of Cleveland, Ohio and Stanley (Jane) Zarczynski of Toronto, Canada; grandchildren, Kimberly, Megan, Brian, Michael and Brittany and great grandchildren, Rebecca, Benjamin, Joshua. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Wayne, on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 1:00 pm, at the corner of State Routes 322 and 193 in Wayne, Ohio with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
