Ronceverte, West Virginia - Eilene Susan Reed, age 72, passed from this life on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, West Virginia. She was born on May 1, 1952, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Nellie Rhoda White-Lloyd and Gerald James Lloyd Sr. A 1970 graduate of Maplewood High School in Mecca, Ohio, and attended college.

On March 15, 1991, she married Bobby Gene Reed. Susan worked in retail sales, was a waitress at Times Square in Kinsman, Ohio, and worked as a nursing assistant. She attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Kinsman and was a Sunday School teacher and Bible School Director for Neola Church of God in Neola, West Virginia. Susan was formerly a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed watching NASCAR and Dancing with the Stars. She enjoyed keeping up with her family and friends through FaceBook. 

Susan is preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Linda Diane Lloyd; step-father, Clifford Newton; two brothers, David Alan Lloyd and Gerald James Lloyd, Jr., and her beloved dog, Bella. Survivors include her husband of thirty-three years, Bobby Reed of Ronceverte, West Virginia; her son, Steven Michael Cochran of Covington, Virginia; her daughter, Denneda Kylene (James) Arrington of Goode, Virginia; step-daughter, Terra Walker; five grandchildren, Kylena, Cassandra, Morgan, Taylor, and Cody; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Judy, Geraldine, Audreanna, Dorothy, and Penelope; and three brothers, Howard, Collins, and William. 

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Gustavus Cemetery, State Route 193. Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service of Kinsman handled the arrangements. Share a fond memory or condolence at www.baumgardnerfuneralhome.com
