Elaine F. Eyring

Elaine F. Eyring, age 70, of Andover, Ohio, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Andover. She was born December 5, 1942, in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of Clyde R. and Beatrice K. (Muenter) Sieberth. A long time Andover resident, Mrs. Eyring was formerly of Penfield, Ohio. She was employed for several years for the former Grafton Savings & Banking Co. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover, where she was active in the church choir in earlier years and enjoyed singing. She also served as a volunteer for Country Neighbor for 25 years. Mrs. Eyring and her husband, Don, were proud to host ten Rotary exchange students over the years; and they traveled around the country to visit their children and grandchildren, as well as abroad to visit former exchange students. Mrs. Eyring is survived by her husband, Donald F. Eyring, whom she married October 12, 1963, of Andover; daughter, Amy (Lawrence) Jenick of Monroe, GA, daughter, Kathleen (James) Roethler of Indio, CA; son, Erik Eyring of Kinsman, OH; daughter, Rebecca (John) Mills of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA and 9 Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Pamela Nesbitt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 481 S. Main St., Andover, Ohio, with Father Matthew Albright officiating. Cremation will follow. Calling hours will be on Sunday, April 14th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH.
