Eleanor J. Hipkins

Niles, Ohio – Eleanor Jane Wyatt, age 78, died on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Youngstown, Ohio. She was born on January 23, 1936, in Johnston, Ohio a daughter of Dorothy E. (White) and Garold Joseph Hipkins. A 1954 graduate of Johnston High School, Eleanor attended nursing school. She later became a book keeper for Taylor-Winfield Company of Hubbard, Ohio, where she worked for over thirty-four years in the accounting department. She enjoyed sewing and traveling. Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Earl J. Howard. Survivors include two sisters, Kathryn J. Logan of Gustavus and Karen L. Hipkins of Berkley, California and a brother, Edward C. Hipkins of Kinsman, Ohio. All services are private with a burial in Johnston Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
